All of our RYA qualified instructors
have a great deal of experience and enjoy teaching
children. Our low instructor to student ratio will
ensure your child will have a very high quality
and safe learning experience. Not to mention fun!!
All prices include sailing gear, buoyancy aids,
footwear, insurance and full safety boat cover.
Full payment in advance is required
with each booking. We take debit/credit cards over
the phone.
Age 4-7 yrs
Children's Joyride: £20
a head.
We can offer a 30-minute accompanied
sail around Abersoch Bay in a Laser Funboat. This
is a very safe and enjoyable way to get the youngest
members of the family on the water. Suitable for
children aged 4-7 years.
Teacher / Pupil ratio 1:3 Max.
Age 8 -12 yrs
1 Hour Lesson: £45 a head.
This sailing lesson would be
in a Laser Funboat, and cover the basics of sailing.
The child will need 4 of these lessons to achieve
reasonable sailing ability.
Teacher / Pupil ratio 1:4 Max.
2.5 hour sessions also available at £80 per
head.
1 and 2.5 hour lessons may be upgraded to a full
course.
Age 8-16 yrs
Full Sailing Course - RYA (Level 1 & 2) Start
Sailing and Basic Skills
Level 1: £130 per course per head
Level 2: £235.00 per course per head
Comprises of three lessons of 2.5 hours each.
This programme is suited for
those wanting to achieve a competent level of sailing
ability. Teacher / Pupil ratio 1:4 Max. It will
be done in the Laser Funboats and cover the following
elements:
a) Weather
b) Tides
c) Clothing
d) Rigging
e) 5 essentials
f) Tacking
g) Gybing
h) Going to
winward
i) Reaching
j) Running
k) Capsize
l) Rules of
the road
m) Man over
board

in the basics, we can offer the High Performance
module shown in the
Adults
Lessons.
